Privacy Policy
Last updated: 31 July 2026
This policy explains what happens to personal data when you visit algounico.co.uk or use the client preference form linked from it.
Who we are
AlgoUnicoStudio is a trading name of AlgoUnicoLtd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number: 15117027; registered office: Suite 1-2, Brookfield Court, Selby Road, Leeds, LS25 1NB).
For any privacy question, contact hello@algounico.co.uk.
What this site does not do
- It does not use cookies, analytics, tracking pixels, or advertising technology.
- It does not build a profile of visitors.
- It does not sell or share personal data with advertisers or data brokers.
What personal data we collect
Browsing the site. If you only read the homepage, we do not collect any personal data through the site itself. (Your web browser and network provider may still process technical connection data as a normal part of loading any website. That is outside our control and not something AlgoUnicoStudio collects.)
Emailing us. If you email hello@algounico.co.uk, we receive whatever you choose to send, typically your name, email address, and the contents of your message.
The client preference form. Clients we are actively working with are sent a private, time-limited link to a preference form (/client_preference_form/[token]). If you submit that form, we collect the answers you provide, which may include your name, business details, and your preferences for the project. Access to the form is controlled by a signed link, not a cookie or account login.
Why we process this data and our lawful basis
- To deliver the website design/build service you have engaged AlgoUnicoStudio for. Lawful basis: performance of a contract (or steps taken at your request before entering one).
- To reply to general enquiries sent by email. Lawful basis: legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
Who we share data with
Client preference form answers are emailed directly to AlgoUnicoStudio via its own email mailbox provider (Hostinger) — the same route used for general enquiry emails. No separate storage service receives your answers.
As explained below, client information is also processed using Claude (Claude Code), an AI assistant provided by Anthropic, as part of building your website. Anthropic acts as a data processor for this purpose.
No other third party receives data submitted through the site.
Anthropic’s infrastructure may process or store data outside the UK/EEA as part of its standard global hosting. Anthropic offers its own safeguards for this (including standard contractual clauses) as part of its standard terms of service.
We do not share data with any other third party, and we do not sell data.
Use of AI in delivering your project
AlgoUnicoStudio uses Claude (Claude Code), an AI coding assistant made by Anthropic, to help process the information you provide — for example, your client preference form answers — and to help draft and build your website.
We use Claude under Anthropic’s commercial/business terms. Under those terms, your data is not used by Anthropic to train its models. Anthropic still processes the data as part of running the tool, in the same way any software processor would, but it is not used to train or improve Anthropic’s AI models.
AI assistance speeds up drafting and building your site, but every website is reviewed and finished by AlgoUnicoStudio before you see it. Nothing reaches you or goes live without human review.
How long we keep it
- Client preference form answers and other project-related information are kept for as long as needed to deliver your project, and for 12 months after project delivery/handover, in case follow-up work, support, or clarification is needed.
- If you have an ongoing support or maintenance agreement with AlgoUnicoStudio, the relevant project data is kept for as long as that agreement stays active.
- After the applicable period, project data is deleted or anonymised, unless a longer period is required by law. Basic invoice and accounting records, for example, must be kept for 6 years under UK law.
- Emails are kept in line with normal business email retention and deleted when no longer needed.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR, you can ask us to:
- confirm what personal data we hold about you and provide a copy (right of access);
- correct inaccurate data (right to rectification);
- delete data we no longer have a valid reason to keep (right to erasure);
- restrict or object to certain processing.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@algounico.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk if you believe your data has been mishandled.
Changes to this policy
If what the site collects or how it is used changes, for example if analytics or a public contact form is added later, this page will be updated and the “Last updated” date above will change.
