Websites for Independent Businesses
A professional website for the business you've worked hard to build.
Your business deserves a place of its own online, one that represents who you are with clarity, professionalism and care.
Designed and built in the UK for independent businesses.

Trades & Construction
Builders · Electricians · Plumbers · Carpenters · Landscapers
Your skills show up in every job you finish. A professional website means your reputation lives somewhere permanent — and entirely yours.

Local Services
Barbers · Hairdressers · Cleaners · Dog Groomers · Accountants · Photographers
Word of mouth carries you far. A website opens the door to people searching for someone exactly like you.

Independent Shops
Florists · Bakeries · Gift Shops · Cafés · Boutiques
Every shop has its own character. A website gives yours room to breathe beyond the four walls of your premises.
Your business has earned its own place online.
Many independent businesses have spent years building a reputation through their work and word of mouth. Yet when someone searches online, what they find often does not reflect the standard of the business at all.
Where most businesses start
Shared spaces
Social media, Google Business, and listing platforms are genuinely useful. They help people discover you and give customers somewhere to leave reviews.
But they are shared spaces. The format, the layout, and the rules belong to someone else. Your business appears alongside others in a context you did not choose and cannot change.
A platform can update its design, alter its algorithm, or change its terms at any time. Your presence there is borrowed, not yours.
A place that belongs to you
Your own corner
A professional website is the one place online that is entirely yours. The design reflects your standards. The words are your own. The experience visitors have is one you have shaped with care.
It does not share space with other businesses or ask you to fit a one-size-fits-all design. It exists to represent you, and only you.
When someone arrives, they are there for your business. What they find should be as considered as the work you put in every day.
How the website is shaped
Not a one-size-fits-all website.
Your business should not look like everyone else's. AlgoUnicoStudio websites are shaped around how your business actually works: what you offer, what customers need to trust, and what makes you different from the next name in the list.
That applies whether you need your first proper website or an existing site no longer reflects the business you have built.

How It Works
A guided process, start to finish.
Building a website can feel like it demands more time and technical knowledge than you have to give. It shouldn’t. Here’s what actually happens, in order.
- 01
First conversation
We talk about your business and what you need, honestly, so we can both tell early on whether this is a good fit.
- 02
Discovery and direction
I learn what makes your business trusted and decide, with you, what the website actually needs to prove.
- 03
Structure and design
That direction becomes real pages, sections, words, and a visual approach shaped around your business specifically.
- 04
Build and review
The site gets built, tested properly, and reviewed with you before anything is treated as finished.
- 05
Launch and handover
We go live once the practical details are ready, and you leave knowing how to use what you now own.
Every stage is guided. You’re never left to work out what happens next on your own.
About
A studio of one, no account managers, no production line.
AlgoUnicoStudio is run directly by me. When you get in touch, you’re talking to the person who’ll actually build your site.
I work best with independent businesses who’ve already earned a good reputation offline and want their website to reflect that properly, rather than a generic design dressed up to look custom.
That means a calm process, decisions you understand and agree with as we go, a build that’s properly tested rather than rushed, and honest guidance even when the honest answer is “you don’t need that.”
How I work
- Understand the business before designing anything.
- Write plainly, in words the business would actually use.
- Build only what the business needs, not what looks impressive.
- Keep the owner in control of what they end up with.
Questions
Before you get in touch.
What kind of businesses do you work with?
Independent businesses that already have a good reputation offline and want a website that represents that properly — trades, local services, and independent shops in particular.
Do I need all my copy and photos ready before we start?
No. I'll guide you through what's needed and help shape the words and structure. The real facts about your business — what you offer, your story, your photos — need to come from you.
How long does a website usually take?
It depends on the size of the site and how quickly content comes together on your end. I'll give you a realistic estimate once I understand what you actually need, not a generic number upfront.
How much does a website cost?
It depends on scope, so I'd rather give you an honest figure once we've talked, than a starting price that doesn't mean much until we get into the detail.
Can you help with words and structure?
Yes — that's a core part of the process. I'll help shape how your site is organised and how it reads, working from what you tell me about your business.
Can you improve an existing website?
Yes, if the site no longer reflects the business properly. Sometimes that means a focused refresh; sometimes it is better to rebuild the structure, copy, and presentation rather than patch over the same problems.
What do I need to have in place before the site can go live?
You'll need a domain name and a hosting account. If you don't already have these, I'll walk you through getting them sorted. Once that's done and the build's signed off, going live is quick, and I'll test everything properly before we switch it on.
Will the website guarantee more enquiries?
A good website makes it easier for the right people to find you and trust you enough to get in touch. But it's not a magic switch for new business. What it does is give your business a clear, professional presence online. The rest still comes down to your reputation and the work you do, same as it always has.
Can I update the website myself?
Once the site's live, I won't be making changes to it, so it'll stay exactly as we built it. If you think you'll want ongoing changes, whether that's me making them or you doing it yourself, that's something we can build into the project. Just talk to me about it before we start.
